Hello and Happy Chilly Willy Winter Autumn my dear blog friendlies!

Now, I know it’s not Winter quite yet, but waking up to a thermometer that reads 23 degrees sure does make it feel like it right now!  Either way, it’s ime to bust out your favorite flannel and woolly jumper, pull on those riding boots you’ll don everyday until April, grab your favorite seasonal beverage (I’m currently in a heated internal battle between the obligatory pumpkin spice latte and the absolutely delightful Winterhook from Redhook Brewery but we can debate that later) and cozy up with your favorite four-legged friend to snuggle the days away. It’s time for rainy days, wool slippers, and no more feelings of guilt for staying inside on a Saturday to binge watch old episodes of Saved By The Bell Breaking Bad.  But more importantly, and the reason that you’re hopefully still reading, it’s a great time of year for photos.  And what better reason to get you, your kids, your fiance, your dog, your wife, or your miniature pig into a delightful sweater-scarf combo and out of the house than a crazy-awesome-once-in-a-harvest-moon photo deal from me?  This is a great opportunity to document the end of 2015,  celebrate a new puppy, or just get some photos of you and your sweetie that weren’t taken with an iPhone.

So enough yapping, here’s the deets…

Last week I was fortunate to spend some time in beautiful Petaluma, California with my friends Nat and Bill (the amazing photographers and designers behind Photo Lab Pet Photography) and their adorable menagerie. During my stay I had the exciting and fun opportunity to capture their quirky and delightful pack: Willow (above), Corbin (black lab), Leeloo (torti) and RT (below).  Here are a few images from my time with Nat and Willow at Dillons Beach and the kiddos around the house.  I adore this couple and their fur babies and can’t wait to go back, five days is simply not long enough. Hugs and Kisses to the pack from Auntie Amy!!! I’ll be back soon!

Nat - I can’t say enough about these photos and what they mean to me. I remember every laugh and delicious moment spent behind them. Thank you so much friend!! We miss you and the kids miss their auntie Amy! xxReplyCancel

I always love hanging out with the Johnsons, especially when I get to photograph all of their adorable four-legged kiddos. Late in the Summer we took a stroll around Juanita with (clockwise below) Emma, Pete and Zena. We had a lovely time shooting and it was a beautiful afternoon, but since we weren’t able to capture their other kiddo while at the park (their cat, Lilly) we made sure to schedule a second session at their home. Lilly is pretty sure she’s one of the dogs, I mean how could she not being the only cat in a three dog household? She’s so cute and I have to say that I simply adore her cute little wheezes caused by her deviated septum.:)Thanks to Joce and Darren for yet another fun time, can’t wait for our next happy hour! Hopefully sooner than later.

xoxo, Ames

And we’re back!

For the second time in a week I’ve been able to hang out and catch up with one of my favorite couples. This time I got to meet up with not only the bride and groom, but also the wedding party! Tuesday I met up with Aaron and Emily and their roommates (ie: bridal party alumni) Emily and Robyn for a little fun time with their dogs Buck (above) and Stella. Together these two are the Felix and Oscar of the dog world. Stella is a sweet, slightly camera-shy, gentle lady while Buck is — well, not. This crazy kiddo was all over the place and after a bit at the house, we popped over to the dog park so Buck could show off some of his skills. Odd couple indeed, I especially love his stunning Doggles.:)While these two may not be the best of friends, I sincerely appreciate the effort it must have taken to get the quick family pic at the end. Stella, you’re a saint.

Thanks to Emily, Robyn, Emily & Aaron for having me over to meet this great pair, had a fantastic time! Rocco also wanted me to let you know that he really appreciated the shoulder slime Stella had me bring home for him.

I’d like to introduce you to my new friend, Bowden…

Every once in awhile when I post, I come to the realization that sometimes it’s best to just shut my mouth and instead simply let the unadulterated cuteness wash over you. This is one of those times.

Enjoy! xoxo, Amy
